Creative concept and production for Sephora’s SPF campaign.
Sephora engaged Long Story Short to create an innovative, onmi-channel campaign for Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia.
The Video
For the campaign video, our concept focused on the idea that there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach to incorporating SPF into your routine. It emphasised the message that you don’t have to choose between sun protection and makeup perfection. We leaned into the campaign’s newspaper theme to bring this narrative to life, capturing talent with physical copies of The SPF Daily. During post-production, LSS oversaw the voiceover, copy, edit, and original soundtrack development.
The Rollout
We worked closely with Sephora to develop a design toolkit which was applied to both digital and retail spaces. This included campaign lockups, colour palettes, font treatments and graphics. Our collaboration involved rolling out six weeks of content for the Sephora website, Google Display Network, Affinity eDMs, Instagram, Facebook and more across Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia.
