Melbourne Fashion Week

Everyone to the front

Short

Official photographic partner for Melbourne Fashion Week 2022.

Story

Long Story Short was engaged by City of Melbourne to execute and manage all official backstage, runway, and event partnership photography for M/FW 2022.

Runway

For official runway shots, multiple photographers were stationed at different angles during every session, leaving no angle uncaptured.

Backstage

To catch the action backstage, we had a photographer at every hair and makeup location, and one roving behind the scenes during all shows.

Pop-Up Runways

Our team also followed models and performers across all official pop-up activations in various locations around Melbourne.

Commercial/Partnerships

To ensure that City of Melbourne received all the deliverables agreed upon with event partners and sponsors, we took care to capture absolutely everything – even the smallest details. From food and drinks to flowers, furniture and volunteers, our team shot it all.

Sponsors included Michelton, Collarts, Creative Victoria, Dann's Event Hire, Emporium Melbourne, Kevin Murphy, Morphe, QVM and RCYCL.

VIP and Media

We were also tasked with capturing important guests from the City of Melbourne’s PR list. This required liaising with the event's PR agency, educating ourselves on the VIP guestlist, and assigning a dedicated photographer to each VIP event.
