Long Story Short was engaged by Bonds to produce photo and video for a seasonal summer campaign.
Goin' to Bonnie Doon
Our concept revolved around the nostalgic experience of summers spent in caravan and holiday parks. After looking into a number of coastal and regional locations, we decided to shoot the campaign in the iconic town of Bonnie Doon. The location's connection to the beloved Aussie film The Castle and the distinctly Australian feel of the landscape made it the perfect choice for bringing the vision to life.
The kids are coming too
This shoot included a wide range of kids product, which meant casting a lot of tiny talent. On top of finding the perfect agency talent, we went on the hunt for some local kids and families in Bonnie Doon and surrounding towns. While many of these kids had no previous modelling experience, they did a great job capturing the playful holiday energy we were going for.
